One look at the placards for Lisa and Rob’s wedding this beautiful Autumn day and one knew you were at a real Italian wedding. The guests were a who’s who of Italian surnames and in case you had any doubt, Grace was offered in both English and Italian. Their guests traveled from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut to celebrate Lisa and Rob’s wedding, witnessing a picture postcard ceremony outdoors at the gazebo segueing the reception in the Crystal room.

Parents were introduced to Barry White’s `Love Theme’, while the wedding party stormed in to a DJ mix of `Eye of the Tiger’ before another DJ mix of the guitar riff from Led Zeppelin’s `Whole lotta love’  gave the bride and groom their grand entrance. Their fun `Love Story’ (check it out in my Gallery section!) segued their first dance, `Sweethearts together’ by Rolling Stones.

With some dancing between course (there were 5 courses!), Lisa danced with her Dad to `My girl’ and Rob with his Mom to Toto Cotugno’s `Le Mamme’.

After dinner, while the bride and groom went off for some quick photos, the guests packed the dance floor and upon Lisa and Rob’s return we transitioned from `Bad Romance’ into a family circle dance, Lou Monte’s `C’e’ la luna mezzo mare’ (Lazy Mary). The last two hours of the reception were a whirlwind of dancing to a very eclectic mix of 80’s Rock Anthems, Top 40 dance, disco and even a Beastie Boy! One of those weddings you never want to end!

Thank you Lisa and Rob!
